Company culture is obviously one of the most precious properties defining stable development as well as shaping identity of each enterprise. Perceiving the importance of this issue, the Management Board of Wilmar Agro Vietnam Co. Ltd. has recently organized practical plan of action in order to restructure Company’ culture. Since last July, Company began to set monthly culture topics relating to Company’s 6 core values: Cooperation – Leadership – Integrity – Innovation – Quality – People.

The very first topic for this plan of action is called Cooperation for Success. Communication activities, messages appealing to everybody’s sense of cooperation are flexibly combined in various exciting activities such as departments’ slogan creating campaign, W-coffee cups every morning with cooperative flavor, composing contest with the topic of Cooperation…

Last Saturday, August 06, 2011 at the conference hall of Phuong Dong hotel, the first Culture day of Wilmar Agro Vietnam has formally occurred. With three main activities including Company and culture topic knowledge competition, interesting games and the performances of composing contesters, this event has exceeded the limitation of a summary ceremony of one canvassing month but also a festival and a playground where members from all factories gathered to share experiences, opinions and joys. In a space filled with cooperative spirit, everybody both enjoyed comedies, fashion performance, lovely pictures, and meaningful songs…composed and performed by our colleagues. Although the performances are different in forms of transferring, they all share a same topic which is cooperating and helping each other in work and life. In that warm atmosphere, it was so touching while many members were standing in a circle, holding hands and singing lyrics coming from their hearts:

No bombast or force, what the Management Board wants to archieve through this plan of action is improving the awareness and sense of self-discipline not only in work but also in communication between members of Wilmar Agro Vietnam. Each individual is just a weak chopstick but together we will form a strong and tough bundle. Society is unceasingly developing and raising new challenges. We need to be ready for changing in order to adapt society’s challenges as well as the development need of a potential Wilmar Agro which is on an unstoppable move.
