HACCP – Another Milestone of WIlmar Agro VIetnam to support Vietnam Livestock Industries

In early February 2011, Wilmar Agro Vietnam Co., Ltd has officially received HACCP certificate in “Production of Enriched Protein Rice Bran and Stabilized Quality Rice Bran”. This is a crucial recognition of Wilmar Agro VN to supply consistent and good quality rice bran for the feed industries. This achievement will certainly lead a new trend in feed industries in general, high quality livestock breeding, aquaculture and fishery processing industries in particular. Besides, this HACCP accreditation of quality achievement is a milestone to support the feed industries to obtain high quality fillet that will be able to meet the standards of SQF, Global GAP, ASC... as well as compliance with stringent expectations on food safety and hygiene, nutritional value globally. Wilmar Agro Vietnam is the first foreign enterprise in rice bran processing industries to receive this certificate.

The achievement of HACCP certificate helps to identify the critical hazardous, food safety and hygiene control, which will enhance the quality of rice bran ingredient used in feed formulation for livestock industries. Being a leader in processing high quality rice bran for feed industries, Wilmar Agro VN always seeks for continuous improvement and value add to the livestock industries. This achievement could further support the feed industries to attain for “Clean feed”, “Green Farm” industries and functional feeds for high quality livestock industries in the coming future.

Applying the quality management standard - ISO 9001:2000 since beginning operations in 2003, followed by the new updated standard ISO 9001: 2008 in 2009 and HACCP certificate in this year, Wilmar Agro VN certainly has strong commitment to prove that the company can produce the best rice bran products quality for animal, poultry and aqua feeds. The production of these products are strictly controlled to ensure both food safety, hygiene and high nutritional values, quality traceability requirements, help customers in producing high quality feed with lowest cost to enhance the products value and competitiveness of Vietnam livestock industries in global markets. On top of this, the achievement of HACCP also boosts up consumers’ confidence in high nutritional value, hygiene and safety food produced in Vietnam.
